BUILDING COMMUNITY WORLDWIDE
“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.” Ephesians 1:11 MSG
The Holy Yoga® Foundation was established in 2018 as a non-profit organization, distinct from Holy Yoga® Global LLC. It began with a faithful response to God’s call from its founder, Brooke Boon, to establish Holy Yoga communities across the world.
Brooke was raised in the Jewish faith, but a personal crisis led her to a church where she found a Bible and read it cover-to-cover. She developed an intimate relationship with Jesus yet struggled to reconcile her background in yoga with her newfound faith in Christ. God’s extraordinary plan for the Holy Yoga Foundation began with a simple seed in Brooke’s heart—a desire to bring the gospel to the ends of the earth and use Holy Yoga to build Christ-centered community.
With Christ at the center, Holy Yoga Foundation communities touch more than one million lives every year.
Our Mission & Vision
The Holy Yoga Foundation exists to inspire, invite and support individuals to have meaningful connections with Christ and others, leading to transformed lives worldwide.
We envision a world where all people encounter God in authentic relationships and communities.
As Christ-followers we believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God and are instructed to meditate on His Word day and night (Psalm 1:2). We believe that meditation is a way of life, not just a wonderful discipline. A lifestyle of meditation allows us to pray, engage with scripture, and deepen our relationship with God.
“Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:19). Jesus commissioned His disciples (us) to GO and use what has been taught to bring the Good News to others. We believe He has not created us to remain static, but instead, be an active participant in His mission on earth. As we continue to move, He faithfully transforms.
In yoga, breathing techniques impact the body, mind, and soul. We believe in a lifestyle of “breath”, allowing us to be present in our daily lives wherever God may call us. We believe that this lifestyle is one of deep connectivity to Him. (John 15).
The practice of Holy Yoga is an opportunity to meditate on God’s word, deepen our relationship with Him, and bring both body and spirit into alignment with Christ. When we support individuals to embody holistic health and equip them to take the gospel to the ends of the earth, Holy Yoga communities are built worldwide, the lost are reached, and the broken are mended.
